Job summary

Lowe’s Companies, Inc. is seeking a Sales Floor Department Supervisor to lead a team, ensure top‑quality customer service, and manage daily store operations. You will coach associates, handle sales activities, and maintain safety and organization across the department.

The role requires retail experience, ability to train staff, and strong communication. This full-time position includes opportunities for development and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 3 years in retail, or 5 years in retail.
• 1 year of customer service experience.
• 1 year supporting Pro customers (for Pro Department Supervisor).
• Experience directing or supervising teams.
• Experience mentoring and developing associates.
• Cross-functional collaboration experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to obtain necessary sales licensure if required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and enable a team of associates to deliver superior customer experience.
• Coach, train, and manage daily tasks and performance.
• Ensure department coverage and safe, efficient store operations.
• Engage in greeting customers, understanding needs, and identifying solutions.
• Oversee non-customer facing tasks like inventory and area recovery.
• Occasionally open/close the store or serve as MOD.
