Role Description

This is a full-time remote role in Austin for a Sales Executive—Tech Partnerships. The Sales Executive will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with technology partners, identifying new business opportunities, pitching products and services, and closing deals.

This is a high-visibility, field-based role. You will be the face of TECLA in Austin and other key U.S. markets, building trusted relationships with tech executives and driving new client engagements.

You’ll stay active in the Austin startup ecosystem by attending industry events, private dinners, meetups, and VC/founder gatherings. The core skill we're hiring for is your ability to build trust and drive meaningful conversations in person.

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of proven success in outbound sales or partnership development, ideally in staffing, recruiting, or B2B tech services
  • Sales, Business Development, and Negotiation skills
  • Experience in technology partnerships and ecosystem development
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of financial technology industry trends

The expected on-target earnings (OTE), which is comprised of a base salary and other forms of cash compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, is currently $70,000 to $115,000. This pay range is just one component of Tecla's total rewards package. Tecla takes a number of factors into account when determining individual starting pay, including the job and level they are hired into, location, skillset, and peer compensation.

  • Just so you know, this position does not currently accept sponsorship candidates. Only US-based candidates authorized to work in the US without sponsorship, now or in the future, will be considered for this role.
