Job Title: Business Development Executive (BDE) – Staffing & Workforce Solutions

Overview

  • We are seeking a purposeful Business Development Executive (BDE) to lead client acquisition and revenue growth in the Greater Austin, TX area. This role focuses on expanding our presence within the staffing and workforce solutions market by targeting mid-sized to enterprise-level organizations.

Key Responsibilities

New Business Development

  • Identify and secure new clients across industries such as technology, healthcare, manufacturing, and professional services.
  • Generate leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, and participation in industry events.
  • Develop and execute outreach strategies to engage decision-makers and present tailored staffing solutions.
  • Deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals to win new business.
  • Lead negotiations and close contracts to establish long-term partnerships.

Market Expansion & Strategic Sales Growth

  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and client demands to shape effective sales strategies.
  • Maintain and grow a robust sales pipeline through research and outreach.
  • Partner with leadership to identify untapped sectors and develop go-to-market strategies.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and networking events to expand brand visibility.

Client Engagement & Relationship Building

  • Build trusted relationships with key client stakeholders, including HR leaders, hiring managers, procurement teams, and MSP contacts.
  • Offer guidance on market trends and staffing strategies to position the organization as a valued partner.
  • Conduct meetings, check-ins, and business reviews to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
  • Transition newly acquired accounts into the account management team, maintaining oversight for future growth.

Internal Collaboration

  • Work closely with recruiting and delivery teams to ensure seamless onboarding and fulfillment of client needs.
  • Provide market feedback to enhance recruiting strategies and service delivery.
  • Align with sales leadership for consistent messaging and unified efforts.

Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Track sales pipeline, client engagement, and revenue against KPIs.
  • Report activities and outcomes using CRM platforms (Zoho preferred).
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and forecast opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 3+ years in business development, B2B sales, or client acquisition within staffing, recruiting, or workforce solutions.
  • Sales Skills: Proven success in prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and closing deals.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with contingent workforce models, MSP programs, contract staffing, and direct hire solutions.
  • Relationship Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and trust-building abilities.
  • Drive: Target-oriented with a history of exceeding KPIs and revenue goals.
  • Tech Skills: Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho), ATS platforms, and MS Office.
  • Local Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Greater Austin business environment and hiring trends.
