As our Business Development Manager in Healthcare, you'll support HID's success by:
- Market Analysis: Conducting thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential clients within the healthcare industry.
- Client Engagement: Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders in hospitals and healthcare organizations, understanding their needs, and presenting suitable Physical Access Control solutions.
- Sales Strategy: Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets, including creating compelling value propositions for healthcare clients.
- Product Knowledge: Maintaining a deep understanding of the Physical Access Control products, including mobile credentials, and staying updated on industry advancements to communicate product features and benefits effectively.
- Collaboration: Working closely with cross-functional teams such as product development, marketing, and customer support to ensure seamless product integration and alignment with customer expectations.
- Market Expansion: Identifying and pursuing opportunities for market expansion, exploring new geographical areas or additional segments within healthcare.
- Performance Tracking: Monitoring sales performance metrics to evaluate strategy effectiveness and making adjustments as needed.
- Customer Education: Providing education and training to healthcare clients on product features, installation, and maintenance.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring all sales activities comply with relevant healthcare regulations and standards.
What we value in your background:
- Understanding of the healthcare vertical's corporate culture, environment, and decision processes.
- Knowledge of how HID products fit within the healthcare market.
- Understanding of consultant community requirements and tools related to healthcare.
- Effective communication skills with corporate management and executive personnel.
- Technical proficiency in Physical Access Control Solutions (PACS) and the authentication market.
- Familiarity with HID Global's sales ecosystem, including business segments, channel strategies, and sales processes.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to business opportunities.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
Your Experience and Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the security industry, focusing on physical access control.
- At least 2 years in business development within the healthcare sector.
- Proven track record in sales or business development, meeting or exceeding targets.
- Strong sales techniques, lead generation, and closing skills.
- Collaborative attitude with internal teams.
- Knowledge of market trends, competitors, and relevant business factors.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience selling in North America preferred.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to market changes.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Polished business acumen.

The salary range for this role in the US is $98,000 to $142,000, with OTE up to $238,000. Compensation is based on skills, experience, certifications, and organizational needs.
