Sales Executive - Remote in AL or FL
Job Description
The Sales Executive develops and executes sales and marketing strategies to attract new groups within the Blue Plan market to attain member growth. This position leads the pharmacy sales process including the RFP process, contract negotiations, site visits, and follow-up meetings.
The clients for this position are in Florida and Alabama, with a preference for someone residing in either state.
Responsibilities
- Work with the Assistant Vice Presidents, Employer Account Directors, and the sales team to drive joint ASO sales and member growth for Prime and the assigned Plan(s). This includes regaining carved-out lives, winning new carve-in business, and assisting the account management team in retaining current business and developing strategies for priority accounts.
- Lead/co-lead prospecting activities with employer groups and consultants, manage pipeline development, conduct post-bid discussions, and maintain reporting in Salesforce.
- Forecast sales annually and quarterly, and meet quarterly sales requirements.
- Establish and maintain relationships with sales and account management teams at the Plan(s), ensuring accurate pipeline status and sales reporting/forecasting in CRM.
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the company, products, services, market, competition, and opportunities; communicate Prime’s key messages effectively.
- Educate client sales, marketing, and account management teams on industry topics, new product developments, and the competitive landscape; provide collateral and sales support.
- Coordinate with the VP Employer Group Sales on message positioning, prospect development, and collateral needs.
- Execute quarterly/bi-annual Go-to-Market meetings, review results, implement product and service changes, and collaborate with leadership.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field, or equivalent experience; HS diploma or GED required.
- 10 years of operational knowledge of PBM organizations.
- 5 years of PBM or related sales experience.
- Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Additional Qualifications
- Working knowledge of managed care organizations.
- Ability to evaluate opportunities, develop sales messages, presentations, and proposals.
- Excellent communication and relationship skills.
- Strong organizational, project, and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or relevant Master’s degree.
- 4 years of implementation leadership within a PBM organization.
- Experience selling to ASO Employer Groups.
Minimum Physical Job Requirements
- Up to 40% travel.
- Constantly sit, use hands, talk, hear.
- Frequently reach with hands and arms.
- Occasionally stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch.
- Lift/move up to 10 or 25 pounds occasionally.
- Specific vision abilities required.
Reporting Structure
- Reports to a Director in the Sales department.
Potential pay ranges from $108,000 to $184,000 based on experience and skills.
