OnScent has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales Executive to join our dynamic team. As we continue to expand, we're seeking a results-driven and entrepreneurial Sales Executive to join our dynamic team and drive growth across key West Coast markets.

About the Role

This is a remote position based on the West Coast, offering the flexibility to work independently while remaining fully integrated with our collaborative team. At OnScent, we believe strong internal partnerships are just as vital as client relationships. You'll work cross-functionally with fragrance development, marketing, customer service, and innovation teams to ensure that our client solutions are supported by deep internal alignment.

As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with retailers, wholesalers, and distributors, while also fostering strong connections within the OnScent team to support strategic goals and seamless project execution.

Key Responsibilities :

Sales & Business Development :

  • Develop and execute region-specific sales strategies to exceed revenue and market share goals.
  • Prospect and secure new business opportunities with retailers, brand partners, and distribution channels.
  • Cultivate and grow long-term client relationships with a consultative, insight-driven sales approach.
  • Deliver compelling sales presentations and fragrance demonstrations tailored to client needs.
  • Stay attuned to emerging trends and evolving consumer preferences to identify high-growth segments.

Account & Relationship Management :

  • Conduct regular client business reviews to track performance and identify upsell opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (creative, development, and operations) to align on client expectations and deliverables.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships across OnScent departments to facilitate teamwork and ensure project success.
  • Champion a collaborative spirit while working remotely, proactively engaging with colleagues through virtual meetings, strategy sessions, and updates.

Fragrance Product Knowledge & Training :

  • Stay current on OnScent's portfolio of fragrance innovations, including raw materials, formulation technologies, and market applications.
  • Provide training and support to clients and internal sales teams to drive fragrance expertise and confidence.
  • Monitor industry developments and translate insights into actionable strategies for clients.
  • Prepare accurate sales reports, forecasts, and market intelligence to share with senior leadership.
  • Manage a robust sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-ups and opportunity conversion.
  • Use CRM tools (Salesforce) and analytics to drive continuous improvement in sales performance.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in fragrance sales or a related role within personal care, home care, or consumer goods.
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets and nurturing strategic client relationships.
  • Strong business acumen, presentation skills, and negotiation abilities.
  • Proactive and communicative with a strong ability to build relationships across remote teams.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings, industry events, and trade shows.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales reporting tools.
  • Deep understanding of fragrance ingredients, applications, and consumer behavior trends.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently while actively engaging with a remote, cross-functional team.
