We are seeking a Sales Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping our clients growth trajectory while serving as a category expert for premium broth and stock solutions. This will be a remote-based position with up to 40% travel nation-wide.

Our client is a global leader of TetraPak recart and producer of premium broth products. We offer a rewarding work environment with advancement opportunities while maintaining a small company, employee-focused atmosphere. We are currently searching for Sales Manager for Ingredient Sales to work alongside our talented sales team.

This is a field-based position requiring up to 40% travel and occasional weekend commitments for trade shows and conferences. As an individual contributor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping growth trajectory while serving as a category expert for premium broth and stock solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, prioritize and, aggressively prospect and develop a new pipeline of opportunities to meet sales objectives.
  • Expand and manage relationships with existing accounts.
  • Develop and implement growth strategies for premium broths and bone broth offerings, such as lead generation, outbound prospecting, detailed sales pipeline management, etc.
  • Aim to sell all capacity to unlock future investments in production expansion.
  • Participate in the new product development process in collaboration with R&D for custom formulations tailored for large opportunities.
  • Maintain a strong pipeline of target accounts and provide monthly progress updates.
  • Forecast annual sales growth and manage budgets.
  • Execute marketing programs to achieve volume and profitability targets.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on broth, stock, and bone broth solutions for manufacturers and food service operators.
  • Monitor customer feedback, address complaints, and initiate corrective actions to maintain strong client relationships.
  • Collaborate with the R&D team to ensure successful product launches and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of direct sales, marketing, and/or culinary sales experience with a track record of delivering strong, profitable growth.
  • Industry Knowledge: Proven expertise in food manufacturing, particularly with national accounts in food service or retail sectors. Familiarity with premium broths and stocks is a plus.
  • Skills: Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills; Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems; Financial and business acumen.
