Job summary

The Manor 1858 in Leesburg, VA seeks a Manager of Sales & Events to lead all sales, marketing, and business development for a premier wedding and events venue. You will drive revenue through weddings, corporate meetings, social celebrations, nonprofit galas, and special events while collaborating with the on-site Hotel Burg team.

This exempt role is 75% on-site and 25% remote with occasional travel, reporting to the Regional Director of Sales. The base salary range is $70,000-$80,000.

Qualifications

• Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in sales positions in the wedding and events industry.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Thorough knowledge of the wedding and event industry, sound administrative and management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the client journey from inquiry through contract, planning, and successful event execution.
• Generate new business across weddings, corporate retreats, nonprofit galas, and social events to hit revenue goals.
• Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing initiatives to increase bookings and grow venue revenue.
• Serve as onsite venue leader during events to ensure exceptional client experiences.
• Direct event logistics including pre-event planning, timelines, setup, execution and breakdown.
• Partner with caterers, rental companies, entertainment providers, florists, photographers, and other vendors to deliver seamless events.
