The Manor 1858 in Leesburg, VA is seeking a Manager of Sales & Events to lead all sales, marketing, and business development for a premier wedding and events venue.

You will drive revenue through weddings, corporate events, and social gatherings, overseeing planning and execution with the on-site team and Regional Director of Sales. This role is 75% on-site and 25% remote, with occasional travel.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 3 years’ sales experience in the wedding and events industry.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Thorough knowledge of the wedding and event industry.
• Proven selling skills: opening, probing, supporting, closing.

Aufgaben

• Lead the client journey from inquiry through contract, planning, and execution of events.
• Generate new business across weddings, corporate retreats, galas, and social events to meet revenue goals.
• Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing initiatives to increase bookings and revenue.
• Serve as onsite venue leader during events, ensuring exceptional client and guest experiences.
• Coordinate event logistics: planning, timelines, setup, execution, and breakdown.
• Partner with vendors to deliver seamless events while upholding venue standards.
• Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and staff to align planning and execution.
• Oversee fulfillment of contractual commitments and post-event follow-up to drive referrals.
• Build a network of planners and partners to drive referrals and bookings.
