Job summary

A leading engineering firm located in Union, Missouri, is seeking an individual to generate 2D layout drawings using AutoCAD and create cost estimates for custom equipment. Candidates should possess a degree in Engineering or equivalent experience. Experience in cost estimating and familiarity with SAP and CRM software are preferred. The role offers excellent benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and a 401K plan with company match.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent technical experience.
• Experience in cost estimating is preferred but not required.
• 2D CAD experience is required; 3D experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Generate 2D Conceptual Layout Drawings using AutoCAD.
• Create cost estimates for engineered equipment in SAP.
• Assemble and generate quotes for clients.
• Use CRM software to manage workload prioritization.
• Facilitate sales handover process to the project team.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Use AutoCAD to generate pre-sale Conceptual Layout Drawings (CLD) in 2D.
• Create cost estimates for custom engineered and manufactured equipment in SAP.
• Generate and assemble quotes.
• Use Microsoft Dynamics CRM to prioritize workload.
• Drive the sales handover process to the project team upon order receipt.

Education and Experience

• A.S. or B.S. in Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent experience with food equipment.
• Experience in cost estimating preferred, but not required.
• CAD experience including 2D layouts required; 3D experience is a plus.
• Experience with SAP and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software is a plus.
