Description

We are seeking a Sales Engineer who thrives in complex and dynamic environments. This candidate will possess strong technical, analytical, and communication skills, bringing strategic and critical thinking to the team. The role involves engaging with customers across multiple vertical segments in pre-sales activities, managing projects, and relationships. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who excels in a collaborative setting and can lead projects and teams effectively.

While supporting the entire portfolio of Sinch's communications channels (including Voice, Messaging, Email, and OTT), this position may primarily focus on supporting Elastic SIP Trunking (EST) from initial engagement through deployment. The role offers a dynamic mix of technical sales, proof of concept support, and ongoing technical guidance.

Requirements
  • 5+ years in Sales/Solutions Engineering
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Proven experience with SIP trunking solutions and integrating VoIP technologies with enterprise platforms
  • Experience with messaging services including SMS, MMS, RCS, and other channels
  • Email experience is a plus
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Ability to discuss designs and implement complex telecommunication solutions ensuring operational efficiency and seamless integration
  • Ability to manage complex technical projects and lead technical strategy in sales engagements
  • Exceptional communication skills, able to present technical information clearly and persuasively to non-technical stakeholders
  • Proven success in fostering collaboration and managing stakeholder relationships
  • Deep industry understanding, including trends, challenges, and opportunities, with the ability to translate into sales strategies
