Job summary

Civ Robotics in San Francisco is hiring a Sales Engineer to join our Sales team and serve as a technical leader across the customer lifecycle, from pre-sales demos through deployments and training.

This in-office role requires hands-on work with robotics and automation, on-site at customer sites, with regular travel. You will partner with Sales, CS, Operations and Engineering to help customers adopt Civ Robotics technology and drive revenue.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a Sales Engineer or similar customer-facing tech role.
• Hands-on experience with hardware + software systems (robotics, IoT, automation).
• Strong on-site troubleshooting and excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to travel ~30–35%.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery to understand customer workflows and success criteria.
• Deliver product demos on-site and communicate value to customers.
• Support evaluations, pilots, proposals, and validation with sales.
• Train customer teams on robot operation and maintenance.
• Monitor adoption signals and address risks with field feedback.
