Job summary

KARL STORZ Endoscopy - America is seeking a Sales Engineer for OR1 (Operating Room Integration) to lead technical sales and support our surgical teams. The role focuses on defining integrated OR solutions, presenting to hospitals, and collaborating with IT and clinical staff to optimize workflows.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in medical devices or healthcare IT, with strong knowledge of video endoscopy and AV systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required with 1–3 years in medical devices, B2B sales or healthcare IT.
• Strong understanding of endoscopy, AV systems, and hospital IT workflows.
• Experience supporting hospital-based sales and technical evaluations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical sales presentations and product demos for OR1 integration solutions.
• Collaborate with hospital IT and clinical teams to tailor integrated OR workflows.
• Prepare cost estimates and define project scope for proposals.
• Support RFP/RFI responses and regional sales forecasting.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor industry trends and emerging OR technologies to stay competitive.
