Sales Engineer, Operating Room Integration

Job Details

Location: St. Louis/Minneapolis, MN area
Travel: Up to 80% travel required

As an OR1 Sales Engineer, you will drive growth in Operating Room Integration solutions, including imaging, video, and audio systems. This role combines strategic selling with technical expertise, helping hospitals incorporate advanced technology into surgical environments. You will be the go-to expert for complex negotiations and technical consultations, leading to achieving your sales quota.

Responsibilities
  1. Sales & Quota Management: Meet or exceed sales quotas, forecast pipelines, and analyze wins and losses.
  2. Strategic Selling: Develop and execute plans to expand market share, lead negotiations, and present technical solutions to stakeholders.
  3. Technical Expertise: Act as a consultant for hardware and software integration, demonstrating knowledge in IT, cloud solutions, and AV systems.
  4. Collaboration: Work cross-functionally to ensure seamless deployment and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in medical devices or OR environments; healthcare IT experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Familiarity with IT systems, networking, AV, and medical technologies preferred.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills; capable of managing complex priorities and stakeholders.
Additional Requirements
  • Willingness to travel locally (up to 30 hours/week) and occasionally domestically.
  • Ability to handle medical equipment weighing up to 35 lbs.
