The Sales Engineer (SE) is a technical sales support position responsible for pre-sales engagement with current and prospective clients. The role requires a strong technical leader who understands how decisions impact the customer’s bottom line and drives revenue for Commvault.
The SE must be seen as a trusted advisor at all levels within an account (C-Suite, technical partners, etc.), as well as a team leader, mentor, and contributor to overall success. The SE supports complex sales opportunities by translating business requirements into technical solutions, coordinating technical expertise, defining delivery and deployment strategies, and supporting internal deal acceptance.
