One of our companies is currently seeking a Sales Solutions Engineer for the Central Territory in the United States. This role involves providing technical expertise and support throughout the sales process to identify energy-saving opportunities for commercial businesses. You will collaborate closely with the sales team to assess feasibility, generate proposals, conduct site surveys, and ensure solutions meet client needs. A deep understanding of energy management systems and the ability to communicate complex solutions clearly are essential.

Accountabilities:
  • Collaborate with the sales team to qualify opportunities and conduct discovery sessions with potential clients in industries such as retail, healthcare, and manufacturing.
  • Analyze commercial energy systems, including LED lighting, HVAC, refrigeration, gas, water, and renewable energy solutions, to assess their potential for cost savings.
  • Conduct site surveys to gather data, review utility billing, and evaluate solution feasibility to ensure alignment with the Budderfly model.
  • Provide detailed proposals and recommendations to Sales Account Executives and customers, including financial evaluations and ROI analysis.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and client meetings to support business development and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Interface regularly with internal solutions and operations teams to ensure project feasibility, implementation, and feedback on current trends.
  • Travel within the Central States region (25-50%) for site visits, audits, and business events.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in sales support, installation, or energy management, especially with LED, HVAC, refrigeration, and renewable energy solutions.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in energy audits, cost-saving modeling, and commercial energy solutions.
  • Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills to explain technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, capable of working independently and remotely.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% for client meetings and events.
