Job summary

Dormer Pramet, a key part of the Sandvik Group, is seeking a Sales Engineer for the Indiana/Kentucky territory. The role focuses on growing market share, introducing new products like solid carbide drills and indexable tooling, and strengthening customer relationships.

You will lead product training and coordinate with distributors to meet customer tooling needs. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree, 3+ years in metalworking tools and sales, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Applied Sciences or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience with metalworking/cutting tools and 3+ years in Sales.
• Strong communication and presentation skills (small and large groups).

Responsibilities

• Pursue sales leads and conduct regular customer visits.
• Respond to complex customer inquiries and provide tooling recommendations.
• Maintain CRM system (contacts, opportunities, customer data).
• Achieve sales goals and deliver on regional marketing initiatives.
• Travel within the territory, with occasional international trips.
