Job summary

Daifuku North America seeks a Sales Engineer to provide commercial leadership from qualification to project completion. You will partner with New Customer Development Managers, engineers, customers, and global Daifuku teams to craft proposals, shape strategy, negotiate contracts, forecast opportunities, and coordinate projects for successful delivery.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Communications, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

Partner with New Customer Development Managers to evaluate, develop, and advance qualified sales opportunities in support of strategic business growth objectives.
Prepare and deliver accurate quotations, proposals, pricing analyses, and other commercial documentation to support customer requirements and sales objectives.
Lead commercial discussions and negotiations to secure contract awards and purchase orders.
Coordinate with Engineers, customers, factories, and internal stakeholders to support successful project execution.
Serve as the primary commercial owner from order receipt through project completion and customer acceptance.
Manage project budgets, schedules, forecasts, and commercial commitments.
Communicate project status, resolve issues, and maintain customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Maintain accurate sales forecasts, project records, contractual documentation, and related business systems to support operational and financial reporting.
