Our client is looking for a Sales Engineer to help drive business growth by working with engineers, contractors, and owners to specify and sell HVAC equipment and systems. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building relationships, managing projects, and providing technical solutions in a fast-moving environment.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, engineers, and vendors
- Provide technical expertise on HVAC products and system design solutions
- Collaborate with estimating and sales support teams to manage bids, contracts, and project timelines
- Ensure HVAC equipment is properly specified, ordered, and delivered on time
- Troubleshoot engineering and installation issues with clients and manufacturers
- Track market trends and analyze competitors' products to strengthen market positioning
- Drive new business development while expanding existing customer relationships
What You Bring
- Experience in HVAC sales, mechanical contracting, or equipment distribution
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, equipment selection, and project sales
- Ability to work with consulting engineers and contractors to design and sell solutions
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Competitive, results-driven mindset with strong negotiation skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent industry experience preferred
