About the Team
The Federal Pre-Sales / Systems Engineer will join the Systems Engineering team at Nutanix, based in the Southern United States. This team is dedicated to delivering innovative cloud solutions to federal customers, leveraging collaboration and technical expertise to drive successful outcomes. The culture within the team is one of support and cooperation, emphasizing shared responsibility and continuous learning. The team's mission is to foster strong relationships with account executives and customers, ensuring that they meet the evolving needs of the federal sector effectively.
You will report to the Manager of Systems Engineering USAF/SOF, who is committed to a collaborative leadership style that prioritizes team member engagement and hands-on experience. This approach encourages open communication and empowers team members to actively participate in customer interactions. The work setup for this role is 100% remote, allowing flexibility in where you work without any mandatory in-office attendance.
This position requires approximately 50% to 60% travel, primarily within the Southern United States, including key regions such as Texas, Georgia, Florida, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Arizona. The travel will involve visiting prospects and existing customers, necessitating flexibility and a willingness to mobilize frequently in support of customer engagements.
Your Role
What You Will Bring
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $128,640 and USD $192,960 per year. However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
