Pursuit in Lewisville, TX is seeking a Sales Engineer to own inbound opportunities across substations, transformers, switchgear, UPS, and more. You’ll build detailed technical proposals, quotes, and partner with engineering, BD, and leadership.

You will learn quoting tools and CRM, with an electrical background helping ramp-up. This is an in-office role supporting fast growth and development within a dynamic infrastructure market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
• 3-5 years of engineering experience (prior sales experience a plus, not required).
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn and explain complex products to diverse audiences.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail — comfortable reading drawings and building accurate, thorough quotes and proposals.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and drive to succeed personally, not just professionally.

Responsibilities

• Own inbound sales opportunities across a full range of electrical equipment — substations, padmount transformers, medium voltage switchgear, UPS, ATS, and more.
• Build and deliver detailed, accurate technical proposals and quotes.
• Partner cross-functionally with engineering, business development, and leadership.
• Learn company quoting tools, CRM, and internal processes (electrical background helps accelerate ramp-up).
• Work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment supporting rapid company growth.
