The role partners with PCS and DCBU teams to enable system‑level design, validation, and large‑scale deployment of optical solutions.

The position requires 3+ years in optical fiber connectivity, data center topology knowledge, and CRM experience (Salesforce). A degree in engineering or physics is required; Master’s preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in optical fibers and connectivity.
• Familiarity with multi‑layer data center network topologies like spine and leaf.
• Familiarity with Scale Out, Scale Up, and Scale Across AI network architectures.
• Experience using a CRM, especially Salesforce.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneDrive, and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Corning’s primary field technical interface to NVIDIA engineering and architecture teams in Santa Clara, CA
• Lead and support system‑level architecture discussions spanning hardware platforms, CPO implementations, optical connectivity, shuffle boxes, structured cabling, and high‑density interconnect solutions
• Lead technical evaluations, design‑in activities, and validation efforts from early development through production ramp
• Provide on‑site support for proofs of concepts, samples, and troubleshooting activities in the pre‑sale and post‑sale processes
