Job summary

Corning Incorporated is seeking a Sales Engineer to collaborate with NVIDIA on Co-Packaged Optics and advanced data-center connectivity solutions. You will partner with the PCS and DC BU to enable system-level design, validation, and large-scale deployment of optical connectivity.

The role requires at least 3 years in optical fibers, familiarity with spine-leaf networks, and strong CRM skills, especially Salesforce.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, Physics, or Applied Science.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in optical fibers and connectivity.
• Familiar with multi-layer data center topologies like spine and leaf.
• Experience using Salesforce CRM.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneDrive, and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Corning’s primary field technical interface to NVIDIA engineering and architecture teams in Santa Clara, CA.
• Lead and support system-level architecture discussions spanning hardware platforms, CPO implementations, optical connectivity, and high-density interconnect solutions.
• Lead technical evaluations, design-in activities, and validation efforts from early development through production ramp.
• Provide on-site support for proof of concepts, samples, and troubleshooting activities in pre-sale and post-sale processes.
