Job summary

Blue Line Search Group is seeking a Sales Engineer in the Greater Cleveland area to bridge technical teams and customers. You will meet clients on site, develop custom quotes with engineering, and create CAD proposals that demonstrate buildable solutions.

Expect ROI presentations, Salesforce tracking, and travel to customer sites and trade shows. The role requires a 4-year engineering degree and 3+ years selling industrial equipment, with strong MS Office and CAD skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales experience selling manufacturing equipment, metal forming equipment, or industrial machinery.
• 4-year degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or manufacturing engineering (or equivalent hands-on work experience).
• Solid skills with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Meet with customers at their sites to find new sales opportunities and build relationships.
• Work with the engineering team to build custom quotes and proposals for each customer.
• Create technical drawings and CAD-based proposal documents that show exactly what can be built.
• Design solutions that match customer needs with company capabilities.
• Run ROI analyses and give technical presentations to show customers potential savings.
• Track all sales opportunities and pipeline activity in Salesforce.
• Hit monthly sales targets and manage the assigned sales territory.
• Support engineering and manufacturing teams after the sale.
