Job summary

Lakeside Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking a Sales Engineer to join the Engineering team. This role provides technical sales support, customer interaction, and engineering problem-solving to meet internal and external needs.

Responsibilities include designing layouts in SolidWorks, interpreting AutoCAD drawings, and preparing cost estimates while traveling to customer sites and trade shows as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical sales support and engineering problem-solving for customers.
• Program and maintain design layouts using SolidWorks 3D; interpret AutoCAD 2D drawings.
• Visit strategic customer locations and attend trade shows to understand operations and opportunities.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates and support pricing decisions.
• Collaborate with fabrication, welding, and assembly departments to resolve issues and improve collaboration.
• Support products and equipment for field service, customers, and sales teams.
• Stay current on industry developments and assist in ECOs and design changes.
