Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.
• 3–5 years of experience in sales engineering, system design, project engineering, solution development, or estimating, ideally in material handling, warehouse automation, logistics or industrial systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; ability to navigate AutoCAD and Navisworks 3D environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with modernization, retrofit, expansion, upgrade, or capital project environments is desirable.
• Familiarity with customer-facing technical sales activities and solution development processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative technical solutions by analyzing customer requirements and existing configurations for modernization, expansion, and optimization.
• Collaborate to design and optimize system layouts created in AutoCAD and Navisworks.
• Work cross-functionally with layout, engineering, procurement, operations, and sales teams to develop competitive solutions.
• Engage directly with customers to understand operational challenges, define requirements, and present technical solutions.
• Lead technical reviews and risk assessments to ensure feasibility and alignment with Vanderlande standards.
• Support project handover by delivering clear technical documentation and assisting project execution teams.
