GNSS Sales Engineer – Join a Game-Changing Precision Positioning Startup (Remote or Washington, D.C.)
BitPath is hiring a GNSS Sales Engineer to help launch a groundbreaking broadcast RTK service across 200+ U.S. cities. This role can be remote or based at our headquarters in Washington, D.C.
At BitPath, we’re reimagining precision navigation — bringing RTK-level accuracy to the masses by dramatically reducing costs and boosting reliability compared to services that rely on wireless data networks. Backed by the nation’s largest independent broadcast groups, BitPath offers the opportunity of a startup with the stability of established financial support.
This is a unique opportunity to join at an early stage, working directly with the Vice President of Business Development to support customers, drive sales, and shape the future of positioning technology.
• Support customers in integrating BitPath’s GNSS receivers and ATSC 3.0/LTE dongles with platforms like Trimble, Topcon, and Leica.
• Provide pre- and post-sales technical support, including demos, technical presentations, and troubleshooting.
• Work directly with customers in the field — installations, integrations, and technical services.
• Develop technical documentation, workflows, and training materials.
• Identify client needs, propose solutions, and collaborate with sales and product teams to drive growth.
• Travel as needed for on-site customer support and system integration.
• Knowledge of GNSS/RTK receiver systems and RF communications (4G, 5G, ideally ATSC 3.0).
• Hands-on skills with hardware testing, integration, and GIS software.
• Excellent technical communication skills — verbal, written, and interpersonal.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Mechanical aptitude — comfortable working outdoors, climbing on equipment, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to write scripts or API function calls to accomplish these integrations (strongly preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (strongly preferred).
