Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Sales Engineer to join our leadership team in the Hospitality & Recreation space. You will partner with sales to guide technology evaluations and demonstrate how automation solutions translate into clear business outcomes, engaging executive and technical stakeholders.

The role is remote for US-based candidates, focusing on driving adoption, strengthening relationships, and enabling scalable growth across diverse client environments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or related field required.
  • 4+ years of professional experience, including 2+ years in sales or pre-sales roles.
  • Experience with Intelligent Automation or related fields preferred.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Drive value-based selling by managing technology evaluations with the sales team.
  • Engage with C-Suite and technical stakeholders to align goals with solutions.
  • Showcase integrations that address client challenges and ROI.
  • Lead workshops to promote best practices and industry thought leadership.

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Sales Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Hospitality & Recreation space.

This role will partner closely with sales teams to guide technology evaluations and demonstrate how automation solutions can solve complex business challenges. The Sales Engineer will engage executive and technical stakeholders, shape value-based conversations, and help translate technical capabilities into clear business outcomes. This is a highly consultative position focused on driving adoption, strengthening customer relationships, and supporting scalable growth across diverse client environments.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $180,000 – $200,000 annually

Responsibilities
  • Drive value-based selling by managing technology evaluations in collaboration with the sales team
  • Engage with C-Suite and technical stakeholders to influence and align goals with proposed solutions
  • Showcase tailored integrations that address unique client challenges and highlight ROI
  • Lead client workshops to promote best practices and establish thought leadership in the industry
  • Design robust frameworks to enable sales growth and scalability for clients and partners
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with customers, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor
  • Enhance team expertise by sharing insights on emerging technologies and driving strategic conversations
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees preferred
  • 4+ years of overall professional experience, including 2+ years in sales or pre-sales roles in Intelligent Automation or related fields
  • Industry-specific sales experience in sectors such as Supply Chain, Finance, HR, or Life Sciences
  • Hands-on expertise with Business Process Automation platforms such as Automation Bizagi or UiPath is preferred
  • Proficiency in enterprise-grade application ecosystems such as SAP and Salesforce
  • Familiarity with AI tools and hyperscalers such as AWS and Azure and their offerings
  • Certifications in automation platforms and cloud technologies are a plus
