Job summary

Globalchannelmanagement is seeking a Sales Engineer with 2+ years in industrial manufacturing or finishing operations to expand our presence in the Pittsburgh and Eastern Ohio markets. You will engage with manufacturing engineers, plant managers, and purchasing teams, understanding challenges and recommending finishing solutions.

Responsibilities include demos, quotes, and technical presentations, plus maintaining CRM-driven activity and relationships across the territory.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in industrial manufacturing, finishing operations, equipment sales, or related industries.
• Experience with finishing processes, abrasive blasting, surface preparation, deburring and polishing.
• Ability to identify customer challenges and propose appropriate finishing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities throughout the Pittsburgh and Eastern Ohio territory.
• Identify customer manufacturing challenges and recommend finishing solutions, equipment, and process improvements.
• Conduct customer visits, facility walk-throughs, equipment demonstrations, and technical presentations.
• Establish relationships with manufacturing engineers, plant managers, and purchasing personnel.
• Generate quotes, proposals, and technical recommendations.
• Manage sales activities through CRM and other technology tools.

• Former Warehouse Supervisor, Production Supervisor, Operations Supervisor, or similar role with customer interaction responsibilities.
