    Carrier HVAC now has an opportunity for a Sales Engineer, this is a home-based national role. You will form part of our Applied sales team and the main goal of this role is to develop new business and grow sales in the Heating / Decarbonisation Vertical.

    What will I be doing as a Sales Engineer?

    • Identify and develop New Business Opportunities within the Vertical sector and grow the sales in conjunction with our direct sales teams.
    • Grow the Applied overall business quoting and selling products from Applied products to Airside products.
    • Effective Key Account Management of nominated vertical market sector, Target and identify new/potential direct account customers (End User’s, Public Bodies, Installers, M&E) &/or specification accounts (Consultants).
    • Maximising Market Share and increase sales revenue whilst controlling margin.
    • Work in conjunction with the current direct sales teams to gain market share and presence within the allocated sales region.

    Requirements

    • Technical knowledge of Hydronic and Airside products
    • Strong sales background in HVAC specifically verticals market dealing with associated installing contractors & M&E’s &/or specification consultants
    • Knowledge of HVACR industry
    • Competitor knowledge
    • Ideally an HNC/HND or City & Guilds Engineering or related subject
    • UK Driving Licence
    • IT Literate with MS Office skills
