The Consulting Sales Engineer provides pre-sales technical support and expertise to the sales team and customers. This role involves understanding customer needs, demonstrating product capabilities, and designing solutions that align with company objectives. It requires technical knowledge, sales skills, and excellent communication.

This position can be remote anywhere in the US, with a preference for candidates in the Central or Eastern time zones.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and develop tailored solutions.
  2. Conduct product demonstrations and presentations.
  3. Create and deliver technical proposals and RFP responses.
  4. Provide technical support during the sales process.
  5. Engage with engineering customers to gather technical requirements.
  6. Build and maintain customer relationships.
  7. Coordinate with engineering and product teams to ensure solution feasibility.
  8. Stay updated on industry trends and product developments.
  9. Provide feedback to product teams based on customer insights.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of engineering or technical consulting experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 30%.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems.
  • Experience in customer-facing roles with successful project delivery.
  • Proven sales ability and experience with CRM systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
