Job Title: Sales Engineer

Our client is a leader in inspection and quality control technology for the food and beverage industry. They set the standard for precision and reliability in checking and inspecting solutions.Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Engineer with a blend of technical expertise and strong relationship management skills. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and growing an existing customer base while actively identifying new business opportunities. The position requires weekly travel (50% is overnight travel, and 50% will be daily travel within your assigned region) within a designated U.S. regional territory that is based in the northeastern portion of the United States.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities to expand market share.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring satisfaction and maximizing product utilization.
  • Manage the entire sales cyclefrom initial inquiry to final delivery and installation.
  • Analyze customer needs and recommend tailored solutions from the companys product portfolio.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and technical recommendations.
  • Develop and execute sales plans, forecasts, and performance reports.
  • Represent the company at industry trade shows and networking events.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing preferred, professional work experience in a related field.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable to changing business needs.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Strong customer relationship and account management skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities to address pre-sale technical challenges.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant business applications.
