Job summary

Synerfac Inc. is seeking a Field Engineer to provide technical support to customers and sales teams across the NYC, New Jersey, and Philadelphia territories.

The role includes developing fluid-handling solutions, recommending products, identifying sales opportunities, and creating technical drawings and BOMs to meet customer needs. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering and the ability to interpret customer applications for P&ID and fluid schematics.

Qualifications

• Must have bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical degree program/industry experience
• Must have ability to interpret and understand customer applications to develop P&ID and fluid schematics.
• Must possess skills to solve complex problems and complete projects using problem solving methods to make sound engineering decisions.
• Must be familiar with current engineering drawing platforms (SolidWorks, AutoCAD)

Responsibilities

• Drive sales of targeted products and services.
• Act as technical representative in support of existing installations and product returns.
• Perform evaluations of customer fluid systems to identify areas of improvement, drive plant efficiencies, and offer possible solutions via formal reports.
• Troubleshoot customer equipment and provide technical support, maintenance guidance, product training, and application solutions.
• Recommend appropriate products for customer applications, develop fabrication opportunities, and create bills of materials (BOMs) and P&ID drawings.
• Deliver technical product presentations, collaborate with sales and engineering teams, and identify opportunities to improve products, services, and business growth.
