Description
We are seeking a driven, high-performing Field Engineer who combines engineering expertise with strong sales ability and professional presence. This is a customer-facing role requiring someone who can solve technical problems, develop solutions, quote and price opportunities, build relationships, and drive sales.
This is an office-based position with travel (up to 30%) throughout our 3 state territory . The ideal candidate has strong problem-solving and business skills, takes initiative, stays focused, and is comfortable representing a premium brand with customers.
A four-year Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is STRICTLY REQUIRED for consideration. Candidates must also demonstrate strong communication skills, sales ability, mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a proven track record of achievement.

The FIELD ENGINEER is tasked to work directly with our customers and account managers to develop systems, assemblies, and services that both help improve their fluid systems and increase sales. This role is an integral part of our sales model and will focus on solving fluid system problems, while ensuring that our customers view us as experts. This individual will be trained in the Swagelok Field Engineering program to ensure they become proficient in all the services we can offer our customers. The ideal candidate will have great people skills, curiosity, and the ability to solve complex problems.
