Job Title: Sales Engineer

Responsibilities
  1. Prospecting new customers and applications: To support our client's aggressive growth in the automotive market, the candidate will network with existing customers and penetrate new ones. The goal is to identify new opportunities for existing products, explore new applications, and develop new products. The role involves extensive customer visits, focusing on engineering, as our products are highly engineered and custom-designed for specific applications.
  1. Engineering Support: Act as the face of the company at customer sites, providing engineering support as needed. Serve as a technical conduit between the customer and the engineering team, understanding technical needs and communicating solutions effectively.
  1. Commercial Acumen: Possess the ability to identify opportunities aligned with industry expertise in fluid flow, electromagnetics, and motion control. Collaborate with technical experts, purchasing, and business analysts to introduce globally competitive, highly engineered solutions and secure new business awards.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
  • 2+ years of experience in technical sales/applications with automotive OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers, focusing on custom, highly engineered products
  • Strong understanding of the automotive industry and technological trends
  • Experience with highly engineered products used in ICE, hybrid, or EV powertrains is helpful
  • Excellent communication skills for presentations and discussions
