An innovative ed-tech startup is seeking a Director of Sales Enablement to enhance sales productivity and effectiveness. Edia is a Series A ed-tech startup revolutionizing K-12 education with AI-driven solutions. We develop software to improve math education, tackle chronic absenteeism, and optimize MTSS processes for school districts. Today, Edia supports 130+ districts across the country (e.g. New York City, Miami, Fulton County, Denver, etc.) .
We are scaling our sales team and motion very quickly, from 12 AEs to 40 AEs in the next 15 months. As we expand, we’re looking for a Director of Sales Enablement who will be critical in building and implementing enablement programs that enhance sales productivity and effectiveness.
As Director of Sales Enablement at Edia, you’ll partner closely with cross-functional partners in sales, customer success, marketing, and our leadership team to build and implement the first repeatable processes for our sales onboarding, continuous learning, and training strategy and programs through scale. We see this role as highly leveraged and critical to our continued GTM success, with key success metrics being (1) ramp time to productivity, (2) quota attainment, and (3) speed to bring new products to market effectively.
Please note that this is an individual contributor role to start, and while you will oversee all of sales enablement, the immediate focus is on AE enablement.
Build relationships and credibility with our GTM leadership and their teams to build and implement a program that’s measurable and yields positive impact on overall sales productivity and performance.
Build and own our sales onboarding program, sales methodology training, and advanced training that will increase sales effectiveness and productivity.
Review customer meetings to provide individual sales reps with direct coaching and feedback.
Leverage Outreach, Salesforce, AI, and other tools to assess team skill gaps, and then build the appropriate training into your overall enablement strategy.
Ramp up on your understanding of our key ICPs, personas, and education space more broadly as you’ll be supporting industry enablement.
Partner with product marketing on product enablement as we scale existing products and bring new products to market ensuring reps are fully equipped to position our offerings and solutions.
Identify and manage the right LMS for our sales team.
Track record and experience building, managing, and scaling sales enablement strategies and programs. You have a high sense of field empathy and ideally, have been in a direct selling role yourself.
The programs you’ve built have had a measurable positive impact on sales team productivity and performance.
You’re a first principles thinker who’s comfortable problem solving through ambiguity and has an owner's mindset.
Strong relationship building and cross-functional partnership skills working across all levels of management and teams.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Deep understanding of sales methodologies like MEDDPICC and/ or challenger with experience in value frameworks and messaging.
Analytical mindset with the ability to quantify your program opportunities, success, and impact.
You’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves and lean in on hands-on training for individual reps and team-wide trainings.
