Job summary

NerdWallet is seeking a Sales Trainer in Scottsdale, AZ to onboard new Account Executives, coach existing team members, and reinforce Challenger-based, consultative selling across the sales organization.

This in-office role is about 70% onboarding and 30% coaching, with embedded presence on the sales floor, live call observation, role plays, deal strategy sessions, and the creation of playbooks and job aids. Occasional travel about twice per quarter is required.

Qualifications

• Onboarding new sales reps and coaching for performance improvement.
• Experience coaching through live observation, call reviews, role plays, and direct feedback.
• Strong understanding of Challenger, consultative, and transactional sales methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding programs for new Account Executives to master our sales process and ramp expectations.
• Deliver ongoing coaching through live call observation, reviews, role plays, and strategy sessions.
• Maintain a presence on the sales floor, identify coaching opportunities, provide actionable feedback, and drive performance.
