Job summary

Advance Auto Parts seeks a General Manager to lead a busy store, driving sales and service excellence. You will hire, develop, coach, schedule and engage the team, while ensuring inventory accuracy and operational standards to meet customer expectations.

You will also lead on-duty operations and work to grow professional customer relationships, focusing on profitability, safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced automotive retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; business degree preferred.
• ASE certification is a plus; experience in automotive parts retail is advantageous.
• Strong leadership and financial acumen required.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team to achieve sales and service goals.
• Hire, train, coach, and manage performance of 10-20 team members.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and operational standards.
• Develop and maintain relationships with professional customers.
• Oversee on-duty operations, safety, and store processes.
