Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a General Manager to drive sales and service excellence in a fast-paced retail environment. You will lead hiring, development, and daily operations while building strong professional customer relationships and guiding a team to exceed goals.

You will manage inventory, performance coaching, and on-duty duties, while promoting change and an inclusive culture supporting both DIY and Professional customers.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of automotive systems.
• Fluent English with strong written and spoken communication.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; PowerPoint is a plus.
• Able to analyze basic business reports (P&L) and translate into actions.
• Able to hold others accountable and provide constructive feedback.
• Able to work days, evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Achieve store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage and grow Professional Customer relationships and sales.
• Oversee hiring, development, performance management, coaching and scheduling of Team Members.
• Ensure execution of inventory and operational standards.
• Coach Team Members to meet Customer expectations (DIY and Professional).
• Serve as on-duty manager, including floor, phone management and safety duties.
• Lead change management and foster a diverse, respectful environment.
