Role Overview: The Sales Director for Tech & Platform Accounts will drive MediaMint's strategic expansion within the tech sector, establishing partnerships with companies seeking to scale, optimize and AI-enable their operations in Ads, Marketing, Content, and Sales. This role calls for a proactive, high-impact sales leader skilled in closing complex deals, understanding the tech ecosystem, and building lasting relationships with senior leaders across target organizations. The ideal candidate will navigate the tech landscape with agility, positioning MediaMint’s comprehensive solutions to empower clients in their revenue and growth journeys.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development and Lead Generation: Identify and engage potential tech and platform clients, understanding their pain points and delivering compelling solutions from MediaMint’s portfolio.
  • Pipeline Management: Develop, manage, and close a robust pipeline of tech accounts, focusing on companies that monetize ads, enforce content compliance and looking for transforming operations with AI led innnovation.
  • Relationship Building: Build trusted relationships with senior decision-makers, positioning MediaMint as a strategic partner in driving their media, ads, content and sales operations forward.
  • Value Proposition Articulation: Clearly communicate MediaMint's unique value, aligning solutions with clients' business imperatives and showcasing benefits around scalability, operational efficiency, and innovation.
  • Collaboration and Deal Shaping: Work closely with internal stakeholders to shape and structure deals that address client needs across media operations, AI-driven services, and digital marketing.
  • Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy for the tech segment, achieving sales targets aligned with MediaMint’s growth objectives.
  • Thought Leadership and Market Insights: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in the tech sector to inform sales strategies and solution development.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in business development and lead generation, with a proven track record in the tech industry or related sectors, ideally focusing on media, advertising, or SaaS solutions.
  • Tech Savvy: Deep understanding of the tech ecosystem, particularly in areas related to digital advertising, AI, and media operations, and experience engaging with tech companies that generate revenue through ad monetization.
  • Relationship Skills: Strong relationship-building skills with senior stakeholders, demonstrating the ability to influence decision-makers and maintain long-term partnerships.
  • Sales Acumen: Proven expertise in complex deal shaping, value proposition development, and navigating sales processes from prospecting to close.
  • Adaptability and Drive: High energy, results-oriented approach with the ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present and negotiate at an executive level.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
