Summary: Our client is changing the game for customers as they look to streamline their supply chain operations and implement, upgrade, or improve their software execution platforms with their industry-leading professional services approach. They’re looking for a Director of Sales who will be critical to the overall growth of the company. Strong collaboration with the Sales, Marketing, and Services Teams is necessary to develop software and service opportunities with potential prospects and existing customers. The Director of Sales will use their years of industry & sales experience to understand the supply chain marketplace for WMS/WLM/TMS and automated testing to contribute to their success
in this role.
Job Description:
• Identify new software and consulting services opportunities in each geography or vertical, closing new business
• Work with the Services Team to formulate service offerings incorporating industry-leading delivery methodology
• Articulate the value of offerings and differentiate it from the competition
• Respond to RFQs and RFPs for software solutions and services
• Sell against annual revenue targets for software and consulting services
• Work with assigned customers to identify new opportunities to deliver value through ongoing services engagements
• Develop effective account management plans and maintain in CRM (Zoho)
Requirements:
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a software services consulting sales role
• Knowledge of Blue Yonder/JDA Warehouse Management (WMS) and Warehouse Labor Management (WLM)
• Demonstrated track record of achieving targeted sales goals
• Desire and ability to travel >50% of the time, including anywhere in the United States or globally
• Ability to travel globally, including maintaining a valid, non-expired passport
• Understanding and demonstrated use of solution- and value-selling
• Excellent account management and organization skills
• Ability to forecast and manage a sales pipeline
• Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and trends in the supply chain industry, including updates in Blue Yonder WMS, TMS, PMS, WLM, and LWT
