Your Impact:
As Director, Sales you are a key driver of sales and marketing strategy. You will identify, prospect, and close new business opportunities, expanding our presence in the Telecom Engineering segment, specifically fiber design and engineering. Your ability to create compelling proposals, cultivate strategic relationships, and understand customer needs will directly contribute to revenue growth. Operating remotely, you will engage across time zones, ensuring high-quality marketing content and sales execution.

Core Responsibilities:

  1. Drive strategic sales initiatives, identifying high-value customers and decision-makers.
  2. Lead, develop and deliver impactful proposals including pricing strategies and contract negotiations.
  3. Manage senior-level customer relationships and communicate evolving needs.
  4. Provide insights to leadership on market dynamics and strategic opportunities.
  5. Develop and execute marketing strategies, including content creation and brand storytelling.
  6. Represent the company at industry events and engage in digital marketing activities.
  7. Oversee the execution of multiple projects, maximizing business opportunities.

Specific duties may vary or evolve over time based on business and client needs.

Core Experience:

  1. A results-driven sales and marketing professional with 8+ years in telecom, ideally with fiber experience.
  2. Deep understanding of telecom and critical infrastructure technologies.
  3. Demonstrated success in closing business deals and managing proposals from inception to completion.
  4. A strategic thinker with a proven track record of customer relationship management and revenue growth.
  5. Skilled in content creation, including proposals, presentations, and social media campaigns.
  6. A strong communicator with the ability to deliver clear value propositions and coach leadership.
  7. Adept at market research, competitive analysis, and brand storytelling.
  8. Comfortable in fast-paced environments, capable of managing multiple priorities and leading sales calls.
  9. Willing to travel within North America as required.
  10. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in sales leadership.
