Job summary

ForeFront Power is seeking a high-performing Sales Director to lead origination and development of distributed energy projects, including microgrids, linear generators, and thermal energy systems. You will target commercial, industrial, data center, and public sector customers seeking reliable, cost-effective energy solutions.

The role requires executive-level relationship management, complex transaction structuring, and a focus on reliability, resiliency, and decarbonization goals.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in energy infrastructure, distributed generation, microgrid, CHP, or power sales.
• Proven track record closing multi-million dollar energy transactions.
• Engages executive-level decision-makers and manages long sales cycles.
• Experience with CRM systems and accurate sales forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Develop territory/account strategies to create a robust on-site energy pipeline.
• Lead prospecting activities: email, cold call, mailers, events.
• Identify resiliency, electrification, and cost-reduction needs for customers.
• Build exec-level relationships with CEOs, CFOs, COOs, and facility leaders.
• Position as a strategic partner for reliability and long-term energy planning.
• Coordinate pricing, modeling, legal reviews, and approvals to close deals.
