Job summary

SitelogIQ seeks a Director of Engineering & Development for Distributed Generation to lead the DG engineering and development team within the Commercial Markets Division. You will set priorities, standards, and workflows across design, estimation, and project execution, partnering with Sales and Operations to deliver compelling, compliant proposals.

The role requires 10+ years in engineering or related fields, a U.S. PE license, and strong leadership and DG experience.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of progressive experience in engineering, project development, or a related field.
• Active Professional Engineer license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Experience leading, managing, and developing a team.
• Experience with site surveys, design documents, and drawing reviews.
• Strong understanding of Distributed Generation systems and customer requirements.
• Proven ability to manage multiple proposals and client engagements.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, direction, coaching, and mentorship to the DG team.
• Oversee the internal proposal queue, resource allocation, and risk review processes.
• Coordinate with Sales to determine customer technical requirements and scope.
• Establish quality standards for designs, submittals, and permitting packages.
• Lead development of tools, workflows and continuous improvements.
• Support field installation and ensure coordination with Project Managers.
