Job summary

Vortexa is seeking a Sales Director to own a defined territory in the Americas, focusing on new logo acquisition and early expansion for our SaaS platform and API/MCP solutions. You will drive pipeline, engage BDR and Marketing partners, and lead high-level conversations with front-office buyers in trading, energy, and shipping sectors.

You will leverage AI-assisted selling, coordinate with Applied Intelligence, and ensure disciplined account planning while pushing API-led adoption.

Qualifications

• Experience selling SaaS/API to frontend trading desks or financial/energy buyers.
• Proven track record of closing new logos and expanding existing accounts.

Responsibilities

• Originate and close new logo opportunities across Americas in energy, shipping, and financial segments.
• Build and manage a multi-quarter pipeline and named account plans.
• Lead with API/MCP solutions and coordinate with marketing, BDR, and AI teams.
• Forecast and maintain clean pipeline data in Salesforce.
• Negotiate terms and drive adoption of API-led solutions.
