Job summary

Vortexa seeks a Sales Director to own the Americas territory, focusing on new logo acquisitions and rapid expansion of API and MCP-based solutions to front-office buyers in trading, energy, and shipping sectors.

You will lead with API-driven value, partner with a dedicated BDR and Marketing, and maintain a disciplined Salesforce pipeline to hit multi-quarter growth targets. Fluent English and a proven SaaS dealmaker background are essential.

Qualifications

Proven track record closing new logo business in B2B SaaS within shipping/energy markets.
Direct experience selling API, data, or developer-facing products.
Excellent written and verbal English; able to communicate with executives and technical users.

Responsibilities

Originate, qualify, and close new logo opportunities across the Americas territory.
Build and maintain a multi-quarter pipeline; run disciplined account plans with BDR, Marketing, and AI partners.
Lead with API and MCP; drive API/MCP opportunities with data/engineering buyers.
Forecast weekly with accuracy; keep Salesforce pipeline clean and current.
Collaborate with BDRs, Marketing, and Applied Intelligence to sharpen outreach and win rates.
