Job summary

Vortexa seeks a Sales Director to own a defined territory in the Americas, focusing on new logo acquisition and API-based selling into technical and front-office buying centers. You’ll work with BDRs, Marketing, and AI teams to drive pipeline and close deals that expand our SaaS and API footprint.

Ideal candidates bring a proven track record of closing new logos in trading, shipping, or energy markets, strong English communication, and a strategic, data-driven approach to pipeline management

Qualifications

• Proven track record of closing new logo business with front-office buyers.
• Experience selling API, data, or developer-facing products.
• Excellent written and verbal English; ability to communicate with executives and technical users.

Responsibilities

• Originate, qualify, and close new logo opportunities across Americas.
• Build and maintain a multi-quarter pipeline with named targets.
• Lead account plans with BDR, Marketing, and AI partners.
• Forecast weekly and maintain clean Salesforce data.
• Sell SaaS and API as complementary offerings; manage territory strategy.
