We are looking for a passionate and results-oriented Sales Director to join our global sales organization supporting our PCI division. If you are highly motivated and can align insights to customer priorities while engaging them through value propositions, we want you on our team.

Detailed Description

As the Sales Director, you will target new customer engagements across various submarkets in the Industrial and Consumer sectors.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Developing strong, insight-based relationships with customers and identifying key mobilizers.
  2. Acting as the primary sales interface for several accounts regionally.
  3. Investigating potential new opportunities within accounts.
  4. Identifying and developing new accounts in North America.
  5. Gaining competitive intelligence and leveraging insights to highlight our market strengths.
  6. Providing unique perspectives during commercial discussions and reframing customer views.
  7. Maintaining deep knowledge of customer business trends and industry opportunities.
  8. Engaging customers by linking their business priorities to our value propositions.
  9. Managing customer relationships and supporting business development strategies.
  10. Acting as the customer advocate to ensure a customer-focused approach.
  11. Understanding customer needs, managing requests, and delivering proposals and RFQ responses.
  12. Establishing value before ROI/financial terms and quantifying impacts of decisions.
  13. Demonstrating strong communication, relationship management, and sales skills.
  14. Working on multiple prospects simultaneously and closing deals.
  15. Proven success in developing new business and markets, supported by a technical background.
  16. Building and maintaining relationships with existing clients.
  17. Applying strategic planning and execution skills.
  18. Understanding Profit and Loss models and sales impacts.
  19. Utilizing value-based, consultative selling, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
  20. Experience working with senior executives and selling design/engineering services.
  21. Collaborating with engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing teams in product development and supply chain architecture.
  22. Working effectively within cross-functional and remote teams in large organizations.
  23. Demonstrating a successful track record of achieving sales or operational quotas.

Physical Demands

Position duties are performed in an office environment, requiring extended sitting, visual concentration, manual movements, and possibly overnight travel.

Typical Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years in business development and client relations, especially in medical products, with a strong network in the medical industry.

Typical Education

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience in Business and/or Engineering, with variations by geography.
