Director of Sales - Connected Living and Digital Commerce (Sales)

Position: Director of Sales - Connected Living and Digital Commerce

Location: Remote US-based - San Jose/West Coast US preferred

Jabil is leading the charge in the rapidly evolving Connected Living and Digital Commerce sector. With a global footprint of over 100 manufacturing sites and world-class design and engineering capabilities, we are uniquely equipped to drive innovation and scale in this dynamic market. We seek a seasoned Director of Sales with over a decade of experience in the Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) or Contract Manufacturing (CM) industry. This role requires a strategic, consultative sales approach—crafting complex, high-value solutions through deep collaboration and managing long sales cycles. Success depends on building and nurturing executive-level relationships within key target accounts to deliver tailored, value-driven solutions.

What can you expect to do?
  1. Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with corporate and sector goals; identify and pursue new business opportunities; build and maintain relationships with executive-level clients; collaborate with senior leadership to qualify opportunities and define strategic direction. This role involves managing a diverse product portfolio including AR/VR, action cameras, safety & security, drones, home appliances, outdoor living, personal care, point of sale, warehouse automation, and self-service solutions.
  2. Sales Execution & Customer Engagement: Apply structured sales methodology; lead negotiations and manage full sales cycle; leverage Salesforce for pipeline management; ensure customer satisfaction through proactive relationship management.
  3. Technical & Market Expertise: Collaborate with design, engineering, and operations teams to deliver innovative solutions; promote Jabil’s capabilities; stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies to guide sales strategies.
  4. Performance & Forecasting: Deliver accurate sales forecasts and budgets; monitor sales performance; use data-driven insights for strategy refinement.
  5. Global Coordination: Work across Jabil’s global manufacturing network to ensure seamless project execution from design to delivery.
What experience is needed for success?
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Experience: 10+ years in sales within EMS/CM industry, focused on Connected Living and Digital Commerce products.
  • Track Record: Proven ability to meet/exceed sales targets and drive revenue growth.
  • Technical Acumen: Understanding of manufacturing, design, and engineering principles related to EMS/CM.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written skills; ability to articulate technical concepts.
  • Team Collaboration: Effective in cross-functional, multi-region teams.
  • Customer-Centric: Strong focus on understanding and meeting customer needs.
