Job description

We’re expanding our small sales team in the NYC area and are seeking a hunter-mindset Sales Director to grow net new business. You will be responsible for bringing on new agency and brand partners by selling managed services, programmatic deals, creative services, and programmatic curation.

You’ll play a pivotal role in our growth during our third year operating in the USA. You’ll help us refine our messaging, materials, and packaging to meet client needs within the Connected TV (CTV) space. You’ll maximize revenue opportunities from prospective buyers and ensure that those partners receive mutually beneficial value and service from our team.

This role will evolve with the world of programmatic advertising. You’ll attend local and national events and conferences to stay updated on trends. You’ll seek new ways to serve our brand and agency partners, bringing your personal style to relationship-building.

What You’ll Do
  1. Develop a strategic pipeline of agency and brand accounts, demonstrating accurate forecasting skills.
  2. Conduct impactful meetings with prospects and clients, understanding their business deeply.
  3. Maintain detailed records and come prepared with sales updates.
  4. Build trusted relationships across organizations, acting as a trusted advisor.
  5. Create strategies and proposals, collaborating with internal teams and adapting sales tactics as needed.
  6. Ideate, create, and deliver proposals, with account management support, especially in the first year.
  7. Collaborate with analysis and operations teams in India to support clients.
What You’ll Bring
  1. 5+ years in Ad Tech/Programmatic sales, with experience selling CTV.
  2. A strong network at Hold Co and Independent agencies, with ideas for immediate revenue impact.
  3. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; advanced degree preferred.
  4. Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets, including $5m+ annually.
  5. Deep knowledge of digital advertising, programmatic technology, and CTV specifics.
Soft Skills
  1. Start-up mindset and self-motivation.
  2. Attention to detail and persuasive influence.
  3. Ability to work across cultures and with diverse teams.
  4. Creative, innovative, and adaptable to travel and hybrid work environments.
  5. Comfort with using Mac computers and working with global teams.
Compensation

The annual base salary ranges from $100,000 to $230,000, reflecting experience, skills, location, and internal equity. Total compensation includes bonuses and performance incentives.
